Deal Information Panel
The next panel down will show you information regarding the current deal and account on which you are currently working. If the deal is a lease, the panel will be shaded orange. If the deal is a loan, the panel will be shaded blue. If the customer has no deals, it will state such. A drop-down list of all deals for the customer will allow you to quickly move from deal to deal within the same customer. If you see a button, then that means that check lists are available to use. (Check lists are set up on the Tools menu.)

Search Panel
The left side of the screen consists of a retracting panel that is used to select the deal on which to edit. Use the bright lime green vertical bar to open and close this panel.

There is a search box in the top part of this panel that will allow you to search for a text string among many different fields within ALMSys. You may use the Search Options box to limit the search to only certain fields. Type in your search string and click the button to begin your search. If only one account or deal is found, it will be displayed. Otherwise, you will be shown a grid with the search results. (Highlighted lines are terminated deals.) You may double-click on the desired deal to open it up.

The remainder of this panel toggles between a list of the last 100 deals or accounts for which you have been working, or a grid that contains a complete list of all of the accounts and deals in ALMSys. These two displays toggle by the toggle button in the upper right-hand side of the panel and is labeled accordingly.

The grid of names is a compound grid. Click the account's + button to see the deals under that account. Double-click on the account or deal for which you would like to open.

Menu Panel
The right side of the screen consists of a retracting panel that is used to select the screen for editing customer and deal data. Use the bright fuschia vertical bar to open and close this panel.

Screens are grouped by function and are controlled by security as to whether or not you can access them and/or edit them.
