Administrative
This gives you access to administrative functions in ALMSys.
Layout
Button Bar
The top of the administrative area contains some buttons that are used for the underlying screens. These buttons are:
Close. This will completely close out of administrative.
Save. This is used to save the data on the screen currently being edited.
Menu Panel
The right side of the screen consists of a retracting panel that is used to select the screen for editing. Use the bright fuschia vertical bar to open and close this panel.
Screens are are controlled by security as to whether or not you can access them and/or edit them.
Administrative Group
Overall Control: Overall system controls for ALMSys.
Security: Controls logons and passwords for ALMSys. Also controls what functions the user may perform.
Compliance: Used to print and transmit the monthly ALMSys Compliance maintenance bill.
Condense Dashboard: Used to condense the records in the Dashboard Messages file.
Credit Bureau Reporter: Used to capture information about the processing company that is performing the credit bureau reporting.
Report Formatting: Used to control the appearance of report data that is exported to a spreadsheet.
Special Group
Archive Old Deals: Moves terminated deals to the ALMSys Archive.
Cash Flow Recalculate: Recalculates the cash flows on all leases.
Data Screen Area
The area to the left of the menu panel is where the data will be displayed for editing.
Each data screen will have its own button bar whuch will contain the name of the screen. Any special buttons associated with that data screen will usually appear on that bar. If a screen is subdivided into tabbed pages, it is quite possible that each tabbed page would have its own button bar.
