Interfaces: Journal Summary
Summary and detail screen for any of the above interface types. Will also handle loan receivables.
How To
Set the Month and Year to desired month for which to see journal data. This only does one full month at a time; there is no date range.
Select the Interface from the drop down box. Your choices are:
Billing Lease
Billing Loan
Depreciation
Deferred Revenue
Leveraged Financing
All of these interfaces are standard journals for ALMSys with the exception of "Billing Loan". This is a monthly loan receivables extract based on the amortization schedule's payment due date.
Once you have selected the interface, click the Get Data for Interface Selected button. This will ADD the extract to the Summary page grid, meaning that you can do a Depreciation extract, followed by a Billing Loan extract and they will both appear in the data grid.
If one of the summary amounts in the grid is incorrect, you can double click on it in the grid, change the amount, and save it.
Use the Create the Journal button to send it to the Journal Export screen for review and export. Only the summary data will be sent. If you want a detailed journal, then do not use the Journal Summary screen.
Detail Data
For whichever interface type the grid is positioned on the Summary page, the Detail page will show the detail data behind that interface. That detail may be exported to a spreadsheet by using the Export to Spreadsheet button. The spreadsheet will show the control number and all ledger amounts, in order, for that interface type.
Spreadsheets will automatically be saved to your ALMSys user folder and will be named for the month, year, and interface type.
