A live demonstration version of ALMSys® is available for download, and is installed on a standalone PC.

The ALMSys installation is a multi-step process, involving software from other vendors. Please follow these instructions closely in order to get a good installation. If you want assistance with the installation and configuration of ALMSys®, please contact ALMSys® support at 1-800-827-3164.

1. Install Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express. There is a different set of instructions for installing this product. Click here to go to those instructions. Please return here after SQL Express has been installed.
   
   
2. Download & install the current version of ALMSys® by clicking here.
   
   
3. Click the No-Questions-Asked Installation button. After this has completed, you will be taken to the "ALMSys Installation Program" menu screen.
   
   
4. Click "ALMSys Files." This will launch the ALMSys program files installation. After that has completed, you will need to click an OK button to proceed.
   
   
5. Click "Crystal Reports." Agree with all of the prompts without changing anything.
   
   
6. Close the "ALMSys Installation Program."
   
   
7. From the Windows Start button, select "All Programs", then "ALMSys SQL", and then "ALMSys Database Initializer."
   
   
8. The password that you provided in the SQL Server Express installation needs to be entered twice in the fields provided. Once entered, Click the "Update INI File" button.
   
   
9. Click the "Proceed with Initialization" button. The program will go through the steps indicated on the screen. When finished, it will tell you that ALMSys® is ready to run. If you get any other message, stop here and contact Support.
   
   
10. Close all programs. ALMSys® should be ready to run. The initial logon for ALMSys® is "master" and the password is also "master."
