This screen is called by any screen in ALMSys which needs to send an e-mail.
ALMSys does not use your PC's mail client to send e-mail. Therefore, you must provide your e-mail settings (like you would for a cell phone). To access your e-mail settings, click the lime green vertical bar on the left of the screen. That will slide open the E-Mail Settings panel. (You may also click the button at the top of the screen to open/close this panel.) You may need to have your IT department assist you in providing these settings. Your settings will be saved automatcially for you.
Depending on what called this screen, the To, Subject, and Message fields may or may not be filled in. Please provide all three of these fields before sending the e-mail via the button.
If you are sending a report, it will most likely already be attached. Only one file may be attached per e-mail. If you need to attach a file, use the button.
ALMSys will store other e-mail addresses for you. These addresses will be shown in the grid on this screen. You may edit this address book via the button or via the bright vertical fuschia bar on the right side of the screen. That will slide open the E-Mail Saved Addresses panel. You may maintain this address book on this panel.
If you specify more than one address in the To, CC, and BCC fields, they must be separated by a semi-colon.
